Everything must go - sadly.

Sadly, I must liquidate these pieces asap, and am willing to do so for

much less than the retail prices I paid. Contact me about the collection

or individual pieces.

In the meantime, enjoy the pictures! And be sure to watch the ammolite video.

Small ammonite with ammolite interior - paid $150.

4x4" ammolite slab - paid $995US in 2007.

9.75" ammonite polished sliced pair - paid $600

8.5" ammonite polished single slice - paid $200

7.5" ammonite poli… Continue

Looking for Slab Saw Oil

I have been having trouble getting in oil for my saws. I have been getting Pella-A and Shell tells me that they are no longer making it or carrying it. If anyone can help me in the Sault Ste. Marie Ontario area it would be great. I have looked all over and cannot come up with anything in my area. Is there something else out there that I can use in place of this oil and where can I find it. Thanks to anyone that can help me.

There is a school down there that teaches lapidary arts and we are going to learn how to Facet stone. Even though we are both retired it is never to late to learn. My wife has never been interested in rockhounding so maybe she'll change her mind after learning to facet. There is also a lot of places in that area that might be interesting l

Upcoming field trip to the Kamloops area

My husband and I are going on the road again. First to Kamloops area July 10th to do some invitation only agate searching (on private claims) lined up through the Ripple Rock and Gem Club (Campbell River BC). Then the rest of the club are going on to the Rock Candy Mine in Grand Forks - we are thinking poking around in the Kamloops area and maybe the Lilloet area, the Thompson River area, and I welcome any clues as to finding stuff.

I'm also thinking about going to the Klinker Opal Min… Continue
